Inter-Informatics Group has recently signed framework contracts with two top Chinese MRO companies – AMECO Beijing and STARCO. Inter-Informatics becomes the first engineering subcontractor for AMECO Beijing. Both contracts cover engineering support for aircraft interior repairs and modifications in accordance with the Inter-Informatics DOA approval.
Inter-Informatics are currently in talks with a third Chinese MRO company. This demonstrates the high priority that the Group management places on expanding business in China.
AMECO (Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Corporation) Beijing, is a joint venture between Air China and Lufthansa, based at Beijing Capital International Airport. Apart from Beijing, AMECO has large aircraft maintenance and repair facilities at 6 major Chinese airports. With more than 11.000 employees and more than 160 aircraft maintenance centres in China and abroad, it is the world's largest service network.
STARCO (Shanghai Technologies Aerospace Company Limited), a joint venture between China Eastern Airlines and ST Aerospace, is a commercial airframe maintenance and aircraft modification services provider based in Shanghai. STARCO is CAAC, FAA, CASA and EASA approved to undertake inspections, base and line maintenance, and modification services for a wide range of Airbus and Boeing aircraft.
