 Energetic projects are unique, since they are closer to designing work than design work. It is generally necessary to cooperate with our client step by step to solve everyday questions. In this area the effect of the natural environment is very important, for example, wind and seismic loading. These projects are atypical with regard to their proportions as in many cases we are dealing several square meters of cross-section flow area for ducts.  The total weight of these units can reach hundreds or thousands of tons and therefore  we also need to deal with high pressures.

 

Energetic design is our newest field of engineering and definitely has a strong potential for growth.  The scope of our engineering work in this area is as follows:

  • 3D modeling of parts and assemblies (items for gas duct and liquid duct systems) according to customer specifications

  • Integration of these parts and assemblies into supporting structures

  • Clash analysis

  • Proposal for change of supporting structures according to clash analysis results

  • Strength calculations – load cases: own weight, temperature loading, operating and design pressure loading, wind loading, seismic loading

  • Beams specifications (material, arrangement)

  • Fixation points design and arrangement (supports, hanging elements and joint points)

  • Proposal for change of supporting structure according to fixation points arrangement
